Sweden has that kind of can-do attitude I admire in a small northern European country.

While George W. Bush seems to have successfully cleared Step 1 by admitting that his country has an oil addicition, the Swedish government has lept several rungs up the ladder by declaring that it intends to be an oil-free country within 15 years, without increasing nuclear power generating capacity. Whether this is over-ambitious or naive, I don't know. But let's give them a hand for trying. We're never going to get there if nobody believes it can be done.
